Led by Dr Melody Smith, a Clinical Psychologist with NHS experience dating back to 2014, working with children and families affected by neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr Smith is passionate about empowering ADHDers, AuDHDers and autistic people with the knowledge and tools they need to advocate for themselves and nurture their strengths. She believes in the power of early intervention and the importance of fostering strong bonds between children and their caregivers.
Dr Melody Smith is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist who has worked for over nine years in the NHS. Her expertise lies in supporting adults , children and parents of children with learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD and Autism.
Dr Smith's approach is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy, although adapted to meet individual needs. She is adept at supporting ADHDers, AuDHDers and autistic indiviuals to navigate social and emotional challenges.
With parents, she adopts gentle parenting principles, informed by The Incredible Years and aims to prioritise the attachment bond between children and their caregivers. She works closely with parents and teachers to celebrate the strengths of neurodivergent children while addressing their unique needs. Through her compassionate, evidence-based methods, she helps neurodivergent people reach their full potential.
