What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?
For organisations and professionals, such as schools and teachers, we offer Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plans, which provide a structured approach to understanding and managing behaviours that challenge. A PBS Plan is a detailed guide designed to improve the quality of life for neurodivergent individuals. It helps caregivers and teachers recognise the triggers behind challenging behaviours and provides practical strategies for preventing or managing difficult situations.
Understanding Behaviours
Helping caregivers and teachers understand the reasons behind challenging behaviours.
Proactive Management
Offering clear steps for managing behaviours before they escalate.
Improved Quality of Life
Supporting the overall well-being of neurodivergent individuals by focusing on positive interventions.
PBS is rooted in research and proven strategies that help neurodivergent children thrive, both socially and emotionally. Our approach supports caregivers and teachers in creating environments where children can succeed and feel understood.
Our workshops are tailored for staff, professionals, and parents and can be commissioned by schools or organisations to enhance understanding and improve the quality of support offered to neurodivergent people. Additionally, we are happy to develop bespoke workshops to meet specific needs.
Workshops Available
Understanding Behaviours that Challenge
This two-hour session introduces the principles of the STEAMER Method. Participants will learn the 7 easy steps to understanding behaviours that challenge, including how to identify triggers and apply practical behaviour management strategies. Perfect for staff or parent groups looking to deepen their understanding of challenging behaviours in neurodivergent children.
Understanding Autism and ADHD
In this two-hour session, we offer an introduction to Autism and ADHD, focusing on key symptoms, causes, and management strategies. This is ideal for schools and organisations looking to improve compassion and understanding of these neurodevelopmental conditions and how to support individuals in educational or caregiving environments.
ADHD, ASD and Sleep
This workshop shares the principles of our sleep programme, designed to support neurodivergent individuals who struggle with sleep issues. Participants will learn how to track sleep patterns, understand the factors that impact sleep, and implement targeted strategies to improve sleep hygiene.
ADHD, ASD and Mental Health
In this session, we focus on understanding mental health challenges in neurodivergent individuals. Participants will learn strategies to manage common mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation, with a focus on practical interventions for both home and school environments.
Our workshops are designed for:
Professionals and staff who work with neurodivergent individuals in schools or organisations.
Or
Parents and caregivers of children with suspected or diagnosed Autism, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Families who want to better understand and manage challenging behaviours and improve their child's quality of life.
We welcome professionals and parents with additional needs or suspected neurodevelopmental conditions to attend, and we can tailor workshops to suit the specific needs of your group or organisation.
